The future of Haiti rests in the hands of God, to be carried out through the future generations. God is calling Christians everywhere to be His hands and feet in Haiti. We are to deliver help and hope to these beautiful people who presently have no hope, because of circumstances beyond their control. The people of Haiti are beautiful in spirit, hard working, obviously very resilient and so very grateful for any help offered to them.

Poverty
More than half of the population of Haiti lives in abject poverty.
Hunger
Severe hunger is one of the biggest consequences of Haitian poverty.
Illiteracy
Less than half of the population can read and write because they cannot afford to go to school.
Orphans
It has recently been estimated that close to 500,000 children in Haiti are orphans.
